The Master of Engineering (MEng) program, a professional degree usually completed in one year, offers advanced training in fifteen engineering fields. The curriculum is practice-oriented, designed to assist engineers in development of their professional careers and to provide the technical expertise needed in business, government, and industry. Cornell’s undergraduate engineering curriculum emphasizes basic math and science. The Master of Engineering curriculum builds on those skills but focuses more intently on practice and design. The MEng degree typically requires a design project rather than thesis research.Master of Engineering Tuition for 2009-10 was $18,775 per semester or
$37,750 for the academic year. An increase should be expected for
2010-11 academic year. New tuition rates will be announced by Cornell
in February 2010. You'll find additional information on the Master of Engineering program provided by the Office of Research and Graduate Studies (RGS).
