Detailed information is available on traveling to Ithaca by auto, air, bus or train. If you experience any travel delays that will affect your recruiting visit, please contact Ami Stuart at 607-255-1069.
For those traveling from NYC we suggest using the Campus-to-Campus luxury bus service which travel twice daily between NYC and Cornell Ithaca Campus. The bus picks up in NYC at the Cornell Club, located near Grand Central and drops off at several locations on campus. The bus provides wireless Internet service, coffee and snacks as well as a conference table if you and your colleagues need to continue working.
Visitor parking is limited, we suggest using one of the transportation services listed below or using shuttle service provided by your hotel. If need to park on campus you will need to stop at one of the information booth located at campus entrances and purchase a one day parking permit for the Hoy Parking Garage. This is the closest parking facility to Carpenter Hall. Our offices are a short walk from the garage.
If you are planning an evening information session, parking in the Hoy Garage is free after 5pm.
Several local hotels provide transportation to and from the airport, as well as to and from campus. Transportation is also available:
- Ithaca Airline Limousine: 607/273-3030
- Ithaca Dispatch Inc (taxi service): 607/277-7777 or 607/277-2227
The Statler Hotel is located a short walk from Carpenter Hall. The Statler provides transportation to and from the Ithaca airport. Remember if you are a Co-op employer and you are conducting interviews on a Co-op Day (Thursday/Friday in February) you are eligible for a reduced rate.
Other accommodations are available nearby. Information is maintained by the Ithaca Tompkins Convention and Visitors Bureau.
