The Engineering College and Academic departments provide funding and other resources to many of our student project teams each year. Even teams without direct funding make use of College and Department resources including space, faculty time, and staff time. The College of Engineering now requires a formal annual registration and funding request process for all teams, as described below.
Each year, teams must submit a written application to Betsy East, Assistant Dean for Student Services. The application should be no longer than 7 pages plus a budget attachment submitted as one PDF. The application will be reviewed by department and college representatives. A subsequent meeting will be scheduled during which a team representative should be available to answer any follow-up questions in person.
