M.Eng. / M.B.A. Degrees

If you aspire to a leadership or management role in the engineering profession, you can benefit from a strong foundation in all of the functional areas of business, as well as opportunities to learn and apply leadership skills. At Cornell, you can enhance and accelerate your career through the sequential (please note: not a dual-degree) M.Eng./M.B.A. degree program, earning two Ivy League degrees: your M.Eng. from Cornell Engineering (Ithaca campus or Cornell Tech) and your M.B.A. from the Johnson School.

The two degree programs have separate admission processes. You must apply to the two-year M.B.A. program after you enroll in—or have completed—the M.Eng. program.

Each year, Cornell Engineering and the Johnson School award several Knight Scholarships to top students who choose to pursue M.Eng./M.B.A. degrees. Knight Scholars have the option of working for up to five years between completing the M.Eng. degree and starting the M.B.A. degree.
