M.Eng. /M.B.A. Degree

If you aspire to a leadership or management role in the engineering profession, you can benefit from a strong foundation in all of the functional areas of business, as well as opportunities to learn and apply leadership skills. At Cornell, you can enhance and accelerate your career through the sequential  M.Eng./M.B.A. degree program, earning two Ivy League degrees in two years: your M.Eng. from the College of Engineering and your M.B.A. from the Johnson School. This degree option is also available if you prefer to gain work experience after completing your M.Eng. and then return to the Johnson School. This degree is earned consecutively, not concurrently.

The two degree programs have separate admission processes. You must apply to the Accelerated M.B.A. program after you enroll in—or have completed—the M.Eng. program.

Each year, the College of Engineering and the Johnson School award several Knight Scholarships to top students who choose to pursue M.Eng./M.B.A. degrees.
