Empowering Women in Science & Engineering (EWISE)

The Office of Diversity Programs in Engineering, the Office of Faculty Development & Diversity, the Office of Postdoctoral Studies, the Graduate School Office of Inclusion & Student Engagement, and the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CU-CIRTL) are co-hosting the 6th Empowering Women in Science & Engineering (EWISE) Symposium.

This one-day event is a professional development opportunity for faculty, staff, postdocs, PhD students, and professionals that provides participants with the chance to learn and discuss opportunities as well as challenges facing women in science and engineering. There will be opportunities for the Cornell community and others interested in networking, learning and brainstorming.

All EWISE Symposium participants must complete the online registration.
Each registration for the EWISE Symposium includes:
- Access to all events
- Conference materials
- Continental Breakfast and Lunch
Registration Fee
The registration fee for the EWISE Symposium varies by audience.
- Free Registration for Cornell affiliates:
- Cornell Enrolled Students (Undergraduate & Graduate)
- Cornell Faculty, Postdocs, and Staff
- Special Guests such as speakers, panelists and moderators
- $45 per person for non-Cornell participant registration

Cancellations
Notice of any cancellations are required to be provided to DPEng@cornell.edu prior to May 13, 2021.

Conference Attire
Business casual attire is appropriate for all symposium activities.
