Energy, Mineral and Water Resources

We make society aware of energy's indirect role in our lives: for example, modern food production requires massive amounts of energy for fertilizer, harvest, and transportation to market. Quite simply, energy is an essential element for societal and economic development. We focus on our mineral resources and how they impact all areas of our lives. And we collaborate with regional, state, and national partners to increase awareness of emerging water resources issues and to develop and assess new water management technologies and policies.
