Entrepreneurship Opportunities for Ph.D. Students

Cornell University was recently listed as #6 in the Top Ten universities producing venture capital-backed entrepreneurs. There is a culture of entrepreneurship at Cornell dating back to our founder, Ezra Cornell, who co-founded the Western-Union Telegraph Company and used his fortune to start Cornell University.

Today, Cornell continues this legacy by integrating entrepreneurial teaching and learning into all aspects of the university experience.

As an active participant in the university-wide Entrepreneurship@Cornell program, the College of Engineering has a wide range of courses, events, and experiential learning activities designed to help students begin their journey of business creation and success in any engineering discipline.
