Virtual Advising Drop-in Hours - for incoming students for Fall 2023
Advising drop-ins are all held virtually and are for quick, 10-15-minute questions as they relate to the topics of our weekly communications to incoming students this summer. They are first-come, first-served. You may have to wait to speak with an advisor if another student is ahead of you. If that’s the case, please sit tight in the Zoom Waiting Room – an advisor will let you in from the Waiting Room as soon as they are available.
Tuesdays (starting June 6), 3pm-4pm
Thursdays (starting June 8), 2pm-3pm
Advising Appointments for Incoming Students for Fall 2023
Incoming new students for this Fall 2023 can make a 30-minute virtual Zoom appointment with an Engineering Advising professional academic advisor. We do not make same-day appointments. Come prepared with questions!
Advising Appointments for Current/Returning Students
Please Note: The Advising team works remotely on Mondays and therefore the physical office suite is closed. Advising appointments made for Mondays will be virtual. You can make a 30-minute (in-person or virtual) appointment with your Engineering Advising professional academic advisor online through Chatter or by emailing adv_engineering@cornell.edu. We do not make same-day appointments. Calendars tend to fill up quickly so plan in advance and come prepared with questions to your appointment.
When scheduling an appointment through Chatter, be sure to find the Engineering Advising tab listed at the top or in the "More" tab drop-down. Note that other offices also use Chatter and have their own appointment booking pages.

Study Abroad Inquiries
Contact the Engineering Advising office at adv_engineering@cornell.edu to set up an appointment to further discuss your plans for study abroad. You can also send general questions and inquiries regarding study abroad to coe_studyabroad@cornell.edu.
